X Ray Hip is a rock 'n roll band based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Although they are a new band, members of X Ray Hip have piles of experience
in the rock 'n roll world. X Ray Hip players have fronted their own
projects, backed some formidable rock 'n rollers, performed in studios,
at clubs, festivals, theaters, and on television, throughout the US.
X Ray Hip consists of founding members of The Delilahs, The Widgets,
Rob the Carpenter, and Billy Can't Drive. X Ray Hip players have also
been contributing members for many prominent Minneapolis musicians.
Over the years, X Ray Hip members have also shared the stage with rock
'n roll icons Semisonic, Trip Shakespeare, Run Westy Run, House of Large
Sizes, The Suburbs, Pete Buck, The Mighty Mofos, Chris Issak, The Indigo
Girls, Tina and the B-Side Movement, Stuart Davis, The Jayhawks, Johnny
Winter, Counting Crows, Lemonheads, Midnight Oil, etc., etc. All of
the rock 'n roll miles plus the deep roots it has embedded into the
indie rock garden of MPLS equal the rock 'n roll sound of X Ray Hip.
